How Deep Can One's Belly Button Be?

You know all of those adorable pregnant women who have the cute little popped out belly button?

I am not one of them.

But I want to be.

So bad.

I have given birth at 40 weeks to a 7 pound, 5 ounce baby and my belly button had not popped.

I have given birth at 38 weeks to a 7 pound, 11 ounce baby and my belly button had not popped.

This is my opportunity!  :)  Yet here I sit at nearly 30 weeks,  WITH TWINS,  and my belly button still has not popped!  Is it just because I have the world's deepest belly button? It's almost flat at this point, but alas, no popping.  Lol!

So....Belly Button Gods, hear my cry:  I WANT TO BE A MEMBER OF THE ADORABLE PREGNANT WOMEN CLUB! I WANT MY BELLY BUTTON TO POP!

please.

  1. That is too funny! My belly button pops about 6 months with my pregnancies and it totally grosses me out! LOL I think you are on to something - that it must have something to do with your anatomy rather than the size of the baby. My children ranged from 8.4 up to 10.8 pounds and it always did the same thing.

  2. Let's start a "my belly button never popped out while I was pregnant" club. You be the pres, I'll be the vice pres.

We'll call is the "Ling Lost Belly Button" club.

  3. That's so funny. I dread when my belly button pops out and it gets real sensitive. I'll try to remember this when I'm upset about it:)

  4. You're not alone, sista! Mine doesn't pop out...it's like a cave in there! But I have to say, I like it that way...the "poppers" freak me out, lol.
