A Quick Shout Out

I am feeling the need to shout out to a couple of fellow bloggers whose blogs I am unable to comment on. Jeni definitely DOES NOT like to be forced to be silent. :) Please know that I follow ALL of your blogs very closely and I absolutely adore being able to share in the journey with you all!

So.....
Mike and Tony-I am so excited for you guys and I love the honesty and emotion you share with all of us on your blog.

And, Stacey-You're SO close!!  I can't believe your babies are almost here!  Thank you for all of your sweet and supportive comments on our blog!  I am so looking forward to pictures of your twins VERY soon!

The blogger "family" is one that I never anticipated having.  The support that we all give each other is amazing, and so necessary.  Thank you to all of you bloggers out there!

  1. Jeni, I agree with you about this community. I dove in to a blog when we started our search for a child over two years ago thinking I would use it as therapy, just to get my thoughts down on paper...and possibly for our child to read one day. I am not sure about the latter, as we've had some extremely sad and frustrating moments (and I don't think I'd like to share that with my child, but still deciding), but the therapy part has become probably the most important reason we've continued. I am the baby torch carrier in our relationship, and there are times I feel like it's a full time job to get where we want to be (that doesn't mean Bill isn't supportive and want a baby as much as I do, but I just do most of the legwork because I like it)...anyway!, that said, I never anticipated this being a support group. That may sound cheesy, but that is what it's become for me, along with hopefully lifelong penpals/blog friends even if we don't meet. There is no way in HECK I would have been able to get this far without the encouragement of all of you IPs, IFs, surrogates, clinics, whatever...and to boot you are people that I have never met. I plan to write a post about this one day but you touched a cord. Thanks for all your encouragement and advocacy and positive energy on everyone's blogs. It's working...one by one, two by two...until we all get the baby or babies we've searched for. Onward!

  2. I agree too and I hate that I can't comment on Mike and Tony's blog...so boys, if you are reading this, please fix it because I want to comment on a lot of things and it denies me...and I hate being denied. LOL But yes, thank you to all of you "followers" who have supported and continue to support me. Jeni, you are doing awesome girl, hang in there, time is flying!

  3. YOU ARE SO SWEET! Thank you so much for saying that, and I have to admit I feel the same way. If I can't check everyone's blogs for a day or two I get all fidgety! LOL! At first I started reading everyone's blogs just to hold me over until we were pregnant, now I talk to Tony about you all like we "know" you. He often gets a confused look onhis face and says "wait.. who's baby?" I will try and fix everything now.

  4. Thank you so much for the shout out! It has been great having support from other people going through surrogacy at the same time. You are also getting so close and look adorable "full term"! I will be following your blog from India.
