What's that???? You're surprised that I will miss sticking a 1/2" needle into my belly each morning?? Yes...yes I will.
But only because now I have this to look forward to:
The good news??
This one goes in my arse.
I am not going to have to do the injecting.
Dr. Rick (better known as sweet hubby with Jelly Beans) will be administering my daily Progesterone injections from now until about 8 weeks from now. I am only slightly concerned that he seems to be looking forward to the task! :-)
Say a prayer.......or five.
Good luck, dear!! And have fun, Rick! LOL (I never had my hubby do mine, so if you need pointers to do it by yourself, let me know :)
ReplyDeleteYIKES! I don't have fond memories of those shots! Good luck, I'm sure my hubby thouroughly enjoyed giving me the shots as well...hmmmm....
ReplyDelete!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my blog Jeni! I have read yours from the beginning and I am a lot like you...positivity breeds positivity and I too am just being positive and really believe that I will be pregnant on the first try! While you start your PIO injections tomorrow, I will be starting my Lupron! I find it amazing how different the protocols are at different clinics! I will be on Lupron and patches then just the PIO...nothing else (except Prenatal vitamins of course). Thankful I dont have to be on the cocktail your on! lol But I will be doing the PIO on myself...learned how to and feel pretty good about it (did a test run even!)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading more about your journey...we will be going through it at the same time so thats cool!!!
